Learn how to authenticate NetSuite

Step-by-Step Integration Instructions

  1. Navigate to the Integration Setup Menu:

    • Go to Set up > Manage Integration > New.
      ​

  2. Enter Integration Details:

    • Integration Name and Settings:

      1. Authorization Code Grant: True

      2. Rest Web Services: True

      3. Restlets: True

      4. Redirect URI: https://api.entendre.finance/gl-integration-service/netsuite-redirect

    • Click Save.
      ​

  3. Send API Credentials to Entendre Team:

    • Provide the following details:

      • Application ID

      • Account ID

        • Your Netsuite Account ID

      • Client Credentials:

        • Client ID

        • Client Secret

    • Send this information to Entendre:

    • Entendre will attach the key to your organizations account in their backend.
      ​

  4. Log in to NetSuite from Entendre:

    • Navigate to the Integrations page in Entendre and log in to NetSuite.

    • NetSuite will ask for your confirmation to connect and will redirect you back to the Entendre integration page upon completion.

    • Please login with an Admin role, if you do not wish to authenticate with an Admin role please see below section on how to authenticate with a custom role.

    • Note: The subsidiaries and ledger accounts will be pulled into Entendre; this process may take about 1 minute.
      ​

  5. Updating Mappings and Refreshing Data:
    ​

    • You can update mappings in the future and refresh the data pull to bring in new subsidiaries and ledger accounts.
