Understand How Entendre's Closing Positions Report Is Calculated

The Closing Positions report provides a snapshot of your digital assets' current status, including quantities, costs, and market values. This guide will help you understand each field and how to use the available filters to customize the report.

Report Fields

  • Asset: The token ticker of the digital asset (e.g., ETH, GRT, BTC).

  • As of Date: The date of the closing position. This defaults to the current day unless a date filter is applied.

  • Total Quantity: The total token quantity of the asset.

  • Total Cost: The total amount paid for the asset, based on the cost basis of each token.

  • Market Value: The real-time value of the asset on the selected date.

  • Unrealized Return: The unrealized gain or loss as of the selected date, calculated by comparing the total cost and market value.

Report Filters

  • Legal Entity: Choose the legal entity that owns the assets.

  • Ledger Accounts: Select the ledger accounts where the asset balances are recorded.

  • Assets: Specify the digital assets for which you want to view balances.

  • Closing Date: Set the date to view the closing positions as of that specific date.

How to Use the Report

1. Selecting Filters: Begin by selecting the necessary filters to narrow down your report to specific entities, accounts, or assets.

2. Viewing the Report: Once the filters are set, the report will automatically display the closing positions as of the chosen date.
