Understand How Entendre's Income Statement Report Is Structured

The Income Statement report provides a comprehensive view of your income and expenses over specified accounting periods. Use this guide to understand the structure of the report and how to navigate its features.

Report Structure


Columns: Display accounting periods by month (e.g., Jan 2024, Feb 2024, Mar 2024).
​Rows: Represent ledger accounts based on your Chart of Accounts. The structure includes sections for Income Accounts and Expense Accounts, arranged by ledger account sequence numbers.

For example:

Income:

  • 400: Total Income

    • 4100:** Subscription Revenue

    • Β 4200: One-time Sales

Expense:

  • 500: Total Expense

    • 5100:Gas Fees

    • 5200: Vendor Payments

    • 5300: Smart contract deployments

    • 5400: Testing expense

Note: The above structure is for example purposes only. You can fully customize your ledger account structure in the Configure > Ledger Accounts section.

Report Filters


Legal Entity: Select the legal entity to view balances across periods specific to that entity.


​Accounting Periods: Choose specific months or a range of months to adjust the columns displayed.


​Tags: Filter by tags to view transactions associated with particular categories or projects.

Interacting with the Report


1. Filtering Options: Use the filters to narrow down the report view based on the entity, periods, or tags.

2. Viewing Details: Click on any balance in a period <> ledger account cell to open a detailed panel.


​

3. Exporting Data: The panel shows all journal lines that debited or credited that account during the period. This data can be exported for further analysis. You an also download the entire report which will span across all period and balances.
